Group Four Social Media Campaign Report
Before December 5th when everything is due for our final project, our team needs to finish up our team social media campaign. For our campaign, we have decided to tweet twice daily. One tweet each day will have the hashtag “#Truth” and the tweet with this tag will share facts about ICHF’s mission, need and facts about the human heart to help spread awareness. The second tweet of the day will have the tag “#Dare” which will act as a hard ask for donations from followers. We still need to post more using these two hashtags and we need to capture the results in the form of screenshots to post in our social media campaign strategy report. We will all tweet using these tags but Audry will collect the screenshots and data based on what we post.
We need to start collecting screenshots of our Tweets and Instagram post so that they can be displayed in our final report. We have a pretty solid social media strategy put together, we just have to make sure that the campaign as a whole is tied together and our ideas are cohesive. If everyone remembers to Tweet and post to instagram,it will really wrap everything up nicely.
We still have to agree on tracking, evaluation and measurement tools. One idea is to look at the “Tweet activity” options for each tweet that we send out and figure out how many people have seen the tweet and how many times it’s been retweeted or liked. The same idea can be used with instagram and Facebook likes and shares. The last thing we need to focus on is the multimedia portion of the project, we have discussed it briefly but we haven’t outlined it at all, which we will do during our next group meeting.
We also need to further edit our report to flow and not repeat information. Brittany has volunteered to edit all of our contributions once it has all been turned in on our shared Google document.
Lastly, we should jumpstart all our strategies for the social media platforms we have chosen. We need to start interacting on the platforms that have not yet been made and we need to be start putting our ideas into actions to see if we can really benefit this nonprofit.
Other than that, we have all taken on different responsibilities for the wrapping up of this
campaign and so far it seems to be moving along. If everyone continues to communicate we should finish with a very successful and and helpful campaign for ICHF.
