Link to Draft (View Only):
Group Five has been rocking and rolling on our group project. We've identified a strong Team Social Media Campaign, and have worked extensively to understand the needs/abilities of ICHF.
Our group discussion has mostly been focused around making a strategy that will be manageable for the ICHF crew. We understand that time is limited, and that the organization is often working on more than one project at a time. That is why we have focused our research on identifying ICHF's strengths. From there, we have developed a campaign and strategy that capitalizes on ICHF's social strong points.
For example, our social media strategy relies heavily on posting about trips. This is result from analyzing how ICHF receives the most buzz on social media when they talk about their experiences doing what they do best, saving people’s lives. We’ve determined the best way to get other people interested in helping ICHF is to see it in action, and let them feel as though they are apart of the experience themselves.
As far as our draft goes, we have built off of what we established as our fundraising goals and worked from there. In addition, because we understand ICHF’s time constraints, we were able to establish a future direction rather easily, because we took what we knew they couldn’t do now and apply it for long term goals instead.
In addition, we have established what we would like to do for our team social media campaign. However, we are in the early stages of implementing the strategy, so it hard to see the effects yet. Therefore, we have only established what we will do, and will follow up with what we find out for the final draft.
Going forward, as a team we need to work on our general social media strategy. While we know we want to work around trips, we also understand that leading up to trips can be busy time. Our strategy will focus on scheduling posts ahead of time, and what those will look like. In addition, or social media strategy will coincide with our fundraising strategy, so we will need to talk about how they will work together (and not clash with each other).
Barry, Jessica, and Nick will work on general strategy, while Bradley and Sarah will finish up the team social media campaign. Sarah will also work on making the final draft more presentable. Each member of the team will continue to post using our team strategy hashtags, and will work on making the final presentation coherent, engaging, and interesting.
